If their spurning is hard on thy mind, yet if thou wert able to seek a tunnel in the ground or a ladder to the skies and bring them a sign,- (what good?). If it were Allah's will, He could gather them together unto true guidance: so be not thou amongst those who are swayed by ignorance (and impatience)!

昨夜故人又入夢中，此次場景更形怪誕。吾與友人前往一水之隔的離島，只是風光險峻地勢嶙峋，全然不似吾等狎遊經年之島。
途中偶遇茶水攤，稍事歇息。攤旁一騎士卸下口罩，出聲招呼，竟為故人也。言談內容依舊不復記憶，轉身前故人突發一語，昔日挂懷安在焉？
當下彷如棒喝，反顧自身境遇，惶悚不能自持。

夜寐有夢，良久未見之人現身夢中。
場景極不相稱，思來卻頗為適當。恕吾恐難言明，僅能透露與奧國佛氏學說難脫干係。
彼人形貌神容依舊，白駒過隙，可時間誠然靜止於歷史斷裂臨界點。

有一度，每天早上得用上全部的力氣才能起床，說服自己今天還是得過下去。穿著昨天前天大前天穿過的衣服出門前，我會從許把即將烤得過乾的土司丟進烤麵包機，用海灘少年時期某年生日收到的咖啡機煮著廉價的昆蟲牌曼巴咖啡，打開音響消滅宿舍裡無言的晨光，呆坐著打開無聲的電視，看著新聞裡我完全不想參與的世界，或看著晨間重播的<<美麗人生>>或<<大和撫子>>裡不屬於我的人生，配著洗碗水搬滋味的滾燙咖啡把乾澀難嚥的土司沖下喉頭，這時CD走到第3首曲目：
