History Channel 2004年播出的Decisive Battles系列中的<�溫泉關之役>。難以忘懷電影<<300壯士：斯巴達的逆襲>>壯闊影像的男女信眾可參考看看，節目中詳細介紹交戰雙方的陣型、戰術，乃至於使用的兵器。節目分成三段，請享用。

對了，是英語發音，希臘文字幕。很神奇對吧？

感想是：動畫技術決定了一切啊。

節目中提到，在斯巴達王Leonidas殞命處所立的墓誌銘為：

Go, tell the Spartans, stranger passing by,
That here, obedient to their laws, we lie.

(Ὦ ξεῖν’, ἀγγέλλειν Λακεδαιμονίοις ὅτι τῇδε κείμεθα, τοῖς κείνων ῥήμασι πειθόμενοι)

這句話在片中成了猛男國王激勵士氣的台詞。

此外，像是波斯大軍以箭雨蔽日進行威脅，Dienekes反唇相譏：「那正好，我們就在陰影下作戰」"So much the better, we shall fight in the shade."這句話也被希臘軍隊第二十裝甲師奉為格言。

講到這裡，那位質問導演有沒有看過<<�英雄>>的影劇記者 -- 不好意思，這個橋段是人家希臘人先用的，請張大導去跟人家洽談一下智財權。

最後要提的是，那位希臘叛徒Ephialtes的名字，今日在希臘文中成了「叛徒」的同義詞。而Ephialtes這個字，在古希臘文和現代希臘文中，都是「夢魘」的意思。

只能說 -- 你爸把你取錯名字了。

Xerxes王一出場，戲院裡響起一陣驚嘆聲。不過是視覺效果咩，不然魔戒裡的哈比人要怎麼呈現？

可是波斯王的形象實在和我想像中落差太大了。我真的不能接受這種造型啊……

片中有許多台詞皆出自史籍。相信不少人對預告片中那句"Tonight we dine in hell"（是dine不是die）印象深刻，據傳Leonidas在決戰日清晨要士兵們早餐吃飽點，因為到了晚上，他們就要去冥府作客了。



還有下面這段。

波斯軍要斯巴達繳械投降，Leonidas王回他一句："Μολὼν Λαβέ"「好膽放馬過來拿」。

這句"Μολὼν Λαβέ"（"Come and get them"）也成了千古名言（？），至少在各種不同場合都能聽到這句話。據說這也是當今希臘第一軍團的標語。

實際在電影院聽到Leonidas親口（？）喊出這句話，我差點沒失禁。

<<300壯士：斯巴達的逆襲>>一上映，想必會讓許多腦殘的美國人（台灣人也差不多）穿鑿附會，比擬成近日緊繃的美伊關係，甚且預言兩者衝突的正邪之分與歷史重演論。但是依照歷史脈絡來譬喻的話，挾千軍萬馬攻佔世界各大洲的邪惡帝國當屬美帝，而堅持本身固有價值寧死不屈的才是伊朗吧。

我都可以想像新聞台向電影公司調影片來大作文章了。唉。

繼續先前Gwen Stefani的話題。

現在耳中正聽著The Sweet Escape專輯中的"Fluorescent"，冷不妨渾身泛起一層雞母皮。"Fluorescent"乍聽之下似乎是拼湊而成的大雜匯，整首曲子的調性從頭到尾換了好幾檔。但走過八零年代的人很可能在歌曲中的某個折子捕捉到一點……什麼自己生活過的痕跡。這跟Adam Schlesigner替爆小子打造的八零年代復刻版歌曲不同（爆小子每首歌都可以對應到Wham或ABC的作品），"Fluorescent"感覺上像是把一個正在聽著那個年代Top 40排行榜的腦袋剖開，把灰白質攪一攪後重組的回魂湯。

專輯中在前一首歌"Yummy"和"Fluorescent"之間其實還有一大段機械聲此起彼落的過場……想起什麼了嗎？（匆匆還是Rhythm Nation？）

大姊，早點回No Doubt去吧。你再這樣巴著過去不放，遲早有一天要去看醫生的。

然後，我一直這樣發文追打八零年代，我也真是老了呀我。

前一陣子的EMI 199大特價，除了讓許多樂迷飲恨的古典和爵士逸品外（泣），流行部門也有不少好貨。像是Cheb Mami和Los Lobos去年底甫推出的新專輯直接被賤價出清（買原價的冤大頭可不可以找消保官申訴啊，泣……），Fado界當朝天后Mariza，Yuming的VIVA！ 6X7等，都是不必考慮就該拿去結帳的上品。

下面這張專輯，晃過好幾家唱片行似乎也沒看見有緣人撿走。Gece Yolculari土耳其唱腔的流行搖滾其實挺好入耳，真心人把它帶回家吧。

以上出自拉美一哥，最愛裝清純搞禁忌不倫的Gael Garcia Bernal 2002年的作品"El Crimen del padre Amaro (The Crime of Father Amaro)"。

有時聽到Gwen Stefani的歌心裡會泛起一股酸楚 -- 這個女人也太可憐了吧，怎麼一直陷在八零年代出不來。是卡到什麼了嗎？

初聽到這首歌時就有已聽過千百回的錯覺，實在很像加了一點Ska調味的True Blue時期Madonna。

話說八零年代有一支轟動武林驚動萬教的英國男子偶像團體，大家一定都聽過他們 -- 那就是Pop！「爆小子」~

在戲院裡看到Debbie Gibson和Tiffany的名字會笑出來的，承認吧，你年紀不小了喔。知道A Flock of Seagulls的笑點在哪裡的 -- 請節哀順變，你真的老了。至於能想像出Adam Ant和Billy Idol在擂台上對戰的模樣 -- 哈囉，裝假牙了沒啊？

八零年代的歌曲就是如此寡廉鮮恥的朗朗上口，很難從腦海中趕出去。曉得八零年代的厲害了吧，小朋友們。

還有，一定得補一句。戲中Drew Barrymore的姊姊那個角色，真應該找豪奢女去演的……

南方人有情有義啦（或許除了布什之外），紐奧爾良土生土長的Harry Connick Jr.推出Oh, My Nola專輯，襄助遭逢天災人禍的故里。

Nola這個名字來自New Orleans, Louisiana -- 感人吧。

有趣的是，法文至今似乎依然稱New Orleans為La Nouvelle-Orléans。跟日文迄今依然以日文發音表述「高雄」這個地名有異曲同工之妙。

不管其中宣傳的成分佔有多少比例，Harry Connick Jr.倒是始終如一，提到自己的音樂必定提及紐奧爾良對他的影響。前兩年經手過一部哈利的電視特輯，內容提及他的成長過程與在演藝界闖蕩的經歷，但他念茲在茲的是想為紐奧爾良做點事。節目最後，哈利號召諸多演藝圈好友，帶著他們回到家鄉趕赴嘉年華會，希望藉此喚醒大眾關注日益惡化的種族問題。

可能還有些人不曉得，哈利和爵士世家Marsalis一族有深厚的淵源，Branford和Wynton都是他從小的玩伴兼樂友。或許哈利現在的明星氣質蓋過樂手身分，但他可是從波本街的酒館歷練出來的。

這個片段搞得我眼淚都快失禁了。我相信哈利是愛紐奧爾良的。畢竟，就連我這個從沒見識過紐奧爾良風華的土包子，也都這樣迷戀Nola二十多載，何況是生長於其中的人兒。

更何況，除了南方沼澤地裡新月灣的The Big Easy，世界上還有哪裡能孕育出來哈利音樂中那根深蒂固、不合時宜的樂觀神態？

雖然原先並非為電影所作，Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds的"Red Right Hand"卻是我心目中最優的電影歌曲，之一。

死亡按著喪鐘的節拍前進，精準地計量其中血液荒謬的濃稠與鹹度。

一如往例，後知後覺的我今日才曉得，這支MV原來是由已逝名導Derek Jarman操刀。

毫不意外，在Morrissey和Derek Jarman的加持之下，整首歌果然瀰漫著少年愛的末日氛圍。

台味十足的電視演出，經典老歌"Lovin' You"原唱Minnie Riperton的演繹真教人通體酥麻。

眾人都不解Minnie為何沒變成超級巨星，可能是沒嫁給唱片公司老闆的緣故吧。
