假設有宇宙人在太虛之中攔截到這篇網誌，他們可能會錯以為地球上的男人都習慣穿小一號的緊身皮褲。或是唱歌娛樂大眾的依然是閹人藝者……

Queen, "Bohemian Rhapsody"。不過美嘉，不管你在歌裡怎麼唱，你還是比不上正宗的女王佛萊廸。


The Darkness, "I Believe in a Thing Called Love"。其實我挺喜歡他們的。不幸（還是有幸？）沒走過80年代的小朋友，我們當年就是聽這種歌長大的。沒錯，搖滾歌手的打扮也都是這副調調。


Orson, "No Tomorrow"。又一組內褲太緊、80年代調調的樂團。


Scissor Sisters, "I Don't Feel Like Dancing"。英國Channel 4的演出。這幾年最成功的奇花異草，堪稱酷兒表率。整個表演更是上看70年代。不過，傑克席爾絲姊妹，扯著這種嗓子唱歌，聲音遲早會變得跟利姓男藝人一樣吧？

Pulp靈魂人物Jarvis Cocker個人大碟自然是所有Britpop迷迫不及待瞻仰的巨作。本來有點怕Jarvis首張單飛作會尖酸刻薄難以下嚥，沒想到極易入耳。

跟最後一張Pulp新作已相隔五年。Jarvis先生，你也四十好幾了，推出作品的頻率可以短一些吧。

我認識Pulp的年代其實有點晚，要到他們打滾多年後搭上Britpop風潮時才發現Pulp的存在。想當初Pulp的"Babies"啊……

2006年待望專輯，現在就剩Subtle、Joanna Newsom和The Decemberist沒到手。

言下之意是……

本來想找出Anita O'Day版本的"The Ballad of the Sad Young Men"，可惜YouTube上沒有。

不過倒是找到Shirley Bassey分別在1976於1979年留下的兩個版本。

Anita O'Day的版本老是讓我想起>The Glass Menagerie裡頭那個每晚跑去戲院的兒子（每晚上戲院幹啥呢？不管幹啥都行吧……）。Shirley Bassey的版本，無庸置疑，一定是獻給Drag Queen的謳歌。

不管哪個版本，這首歌實在Queer得緊哪。

也會讓我想起許多沒出櫃的劇中人。

最近挺喜歡的女歌手Helen Humes。這位大姊的歌聲甜美可人 -- 似乎噸位越大的黑人女性嗓音越嬌嫩？

史上有天份、有才能、有風格、有特色的歌手多如繁星，但有多少人能登上Ella等三姝的天后地位？

更令人納悶現在那些打混的歌手到底都是怎樣拿到唱片合約的？

Helen Humes於1981年上天堂當仙女去。

無庸置疑，影史震古鑠今的偉大片段。

我最崇敬（或說是敬畏）的導演Stanley Kubrick曠世名作，2001: A Space Odyssey開場部分。真是高啊，令人寒毛直豎地高啊。迄今依然無人能出其右。

音樂自然是Richard Strauss的Also Sprach Zarathustra >。這音樂與影像已無法切割。

本篇重點其實是，本人活了好幾十年，到今天才突然醒悟，「查拉圖斯特拉」Zarathustra原來就是教主「瑣羅亞斯德」Zoroaster大人。真是白活了，我。

下面這段就是骨頭變成太空船後的延續，影像同樣經典：外太空的華爾滋。音樂還是由姓史特勞斯的人擔綱，不過這下換成了小史特勞斯Johann Strauss the Younger的> An der schönen blauen Donau op. 314 (On the Beautiful Blue Danube)。



所謂文明與蠻荒啊……

說到今年的紅白，相信不少人最矚目的演出是初登場的今井美樹吧。

不過，我也很同意BBS上大家的意見，一旁布袋寅泰的存在著實礙眼。這樣的組合雖可稱之為婦唱夫隨，但也很難讓人不想起他們曾經姦夫淫婦的過去。

說到這裡，不免為蓮姊感到慶幸。甩掉老李實為脫離第三者紅字的上上策啊。

今年度大受好評的Joanna Newsom。新專輯似乎短期內尚無引進台灣的跡象。

來聽上一張專輯The Milk-Eyed Mender中的"Sprout and the Bean"。很少聽到以豎琴為主調的流行歌曲呀。

這一定是親身經歷。至少我是如此。

最近很喜歡Rachid Taha，結果在YouTube上找到他與Khaled和Faudel的現場合作。

那場音樂會是1998年在巴黎的1,2,3 Soleils。有發行專輯，真想買。

Khaled大家都知道，Rachid Taha是裡頭比較浪子的那一位，人稱 Raï 界搖滾狂徒。
